Antique 3-drawer oak dressing table, circa 1890, with bevelled mirror, lovely design, good condition, original hardware. Unique handmade crystal mirror.
------This is a very elegant piece that would grace any bedroom and would look fantastic with other antiques, or could be used to complement a more modern decor. The surface of the dresser has been preserved well and has no significant marks or chips.
------In the middle drawer, below the mirror, there is a paper stamp that reads: \'Bank of Agriculture, 1918.\' It leads us to a curious story. The owner of this piece was paying off a bank loan when in 1918 he could not afford any more payments. He had his furniture and valuables confiscated. The dressing table thus became the bank\'s property.
